Exposition 'Connecting'
CONNECTING is a duo exhibition by visual artists Ellen Van Brabandt and Bart Standaert, exploring the power of human connection: with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us.
Through two complementary but different artistic languages, the exhibition unfolds in two chapters:
Inward – an introspective journey into the personal, the intuitive, the abstract.
Outward – a warm ode to human relationships, expressed in figurative double portraits and in our bond with nature.
The works move between vulnerability and strength, stillness and exuberance, offering different perspectives on what it truly means to connect.

I had the opportunity to participate in a group exhibition with multidisciplinary artists, where a curated selection of my works was presented.
The show brought together diverse artistic voices, creating a rich dialogue between different disciplines and perspectives; a setting in which my pieces could reveal new layers of meaning.
Ceramics meets abstract painting 'La Tavola Segreta' -
“The Secret Table” is a unique collaboration and project between HANDMEZZO Ceramics and Atelier EVB, bringing together two complementary crafts: the precision of hand-crafted ceramics and the expressiveness of abstract art.
The collection presents exclusive, one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces for the table: objects where form and color meet to celebrate craftsmanship, creativity, and soulful dining.
This project was a heart-warming collaboration, uniting two different artistic disciplines in a harmonious and inspiring way.
Exposition ‘Human Condition’
Together with four other talented artists: Ann Depreitere, Bart Standaert, and Lien Van Den Broeck I was proud to present our joint exhibition “Human Condition.”
This collective show brought together five artists, including myself, exploring the richness and complexity of the human experience. From abstract paintings and powerful sculptures to expressive portraits, each piece told its own unique story, inviting visitors to reflect on the many layers of what it means to be human.
Exposition 'Purpose'
“Purpose” is a collection born during my recovery from a severe burn-out; a period of deep transformation that ultimately guided me back to my sense of purpose in life.
Creating these works became a journey of healing and rediscovery, each piece carrying traces of that inner process.
The exhibition found its perfect setting in the historic old chapel, where the atmosphere of stillness and reverence gave the abstract works an even deeper presence, amplifying their emotional power and inviting viewers into a contemplative experience.
Exposition ‘Outburned’
My very first exhibition was born out of a profound sense of being burned out by life.
After a long period of physical and emotional struggle, I returned to my creativity, which became a source of renewal and strength.
From this journey emerged my debut collection, “Outburned”, an exploration of abstract art through various techniques and materials, and a discovery of the expressive power and meaning of color.
