CONNECTING is a duo exhibition by visual artists Ellen Van Brabandt and Bart Standaert, exploring the power of human connection: with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us.

Through two complementary but different artistic languages, the exhibition unfolds in two chapters:

• Inward – an introspective journey into the personal, the intuitive, the abstract.

• Outward – a warm ode to human relationships, expressed in figurative double portraits and in our bond with nature.

The works move between vulnerability and strength, stillness and exuberance, offering different perspectives on what it truly means to connect.
